Well here it is several months after the last hunt and it's time to post again.  The other day I got a call from the DWR and it seems that someone (it turned out to be a local guy whose recent shoulder surgery ruined his opportunity) turned in his turkey tag and apparently I was next in line.  Now I need to learn all about wild turkeys in two weeks.  Hopefully I can find a herd, or flock as it were, so that I can actually have a good hunt.  Wish me luck!
